Operation Homefront Military Financial Assistance Program
Operation Homefront provides direct, short-term financial assistance to military families experiencing an unexpected financial crisis. The Critical Financial Assistance (CFA) program helps cover the costs of home repairs, overdue rent/mortgage payments, utility bills, and food assistance. The grant is designed to help families stabilize during emergencies, such as natural disasters, deployments, or medical crises.
Must be an active-duty military member, deployed, or a veteran with a service-connected wound, illness, or injury (post-9/11).
Click the "Get Started" button on the Operation Homefront website to access the "My Operation Homefront" portal. Create an account, fill out your profile, and submit your application for Critical Financial Assistance. Be prepared to upload your military ID, DD214, and documents proving your financial hardship (like an overdue bill or repair estimate).
