Description
This microgrant initiative supports artists, designers, curators, and cultural producers of color with unrestricted $5,000 grants and includes mentorship and opportunities designed to foster long-term creative and community impact. This year’s cycle focuses on recipients based in New York, where selected grantees will join a dynamic cohort of peers and gain access to programming and networks within the broader arts ecosystem. Founded in 2020 in response to a moment of global unrest, the Jar of Love Fund has evolved into a powerful platform for resource redistribution and cultural care—disbursing more than $300,000 in direct support to date.
