Description
The Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs (DCBA) will soon launch the Emergency Rent Relief Program to provide financial assistance to qualifying property owners and tenants impacted by recent emergencies.” “Up to six (6) months of rent debt may be covered.” “With limited exceptions, maximum award of $15,000 per rental unit.

  • “Displaced Homeowners: Individuals whose homes were lost or severely damaged in the wildfires and who are now renting elsewhere and facing unpaid rent and/or mortgages related to the disaster.”
  • “Tenants may not directly apply for this Program but can refer their landlords…”
  • “All landlords must apply through the application portal to be considered for a grant award.”
  • “Proof of Income” (e.g., “Federal Tax Returns… (2023 to present)”, “W-2 Forms”, “Pay Stubs…”, etc.)
