Temporary Storage of Artworks for Fire-Impacted Artists and Community-Based Organizations Expired

Description
The Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture is offering free temporary storage for artworks to artists and community-based organizations who have been impacted by the 2025 Los Angeles Wildfires. Storage will be offered on a first come, first serve basis, with priority given to applicants in the immediate fire perimeter. The services will be available for a maximum of one year, from July 2025 to July 2026.
Requirements
  • “The application is open to individual artists, artist groups, arts organizations, and community-based organizations directly impacted by the 2025 Los Angeles Wildfires whose homes, studios, or businesses are located either within the fire perimeter or the evacuation zones of the wildfires.”
  • “Storage will be made available to artists and arts and community-based organizations who have lost use of home storage, studio space, commercial storage, or other storage space for artwork as a result of the 2025 Los Angeles Wildfires.”
  • “Storage will be offered on a first come, first serve basis, with priority given to applicants in the immediate fire perimeter.”
  • “Artworks must be smaller than 72 inches at greatest length.”
  • “Artworks must weigh less than 50 lbs.”
  • “Artworks must be in good condition and not require immediate conservation services due to fire, smoke, or water damage.”
  • “Artworks must not contain hazardous material.”
  • “Artworks must be located within Los Angeles County.”
