Support from our Emergency Response Fund is already making a difference. Thanks to the generosity of our community, $200,000 has been granted to KCCSI – Kankakee County Community Services, Inc. to provide immediate assistance to those impacted by the March 10 storm. This includes short-term housing support for displaced families, rent and mortgage assistance, and auto repair help for vehicles with damage beyond insurance coverage.” “Completed applications must be submitted to KCCSI - NOT United Way.” “This fund is a collaborative effort between United Way and the Community Foundation of Kankakee River Valley, designed to respond quickly and help individuals and families take the next steps toward stability.
Requirements
  • Must be impacted by the March 10 storm.
  • Must complete the assistance application.
  • Completed applications must be submitted to “KCCSI - Kankakee County Community Services, Inc.” (not United Way).
