Housing assistance is available to qualified applicants whose primary residence was damaged or destroyed by a 2026 Colorado Wildfire and can be used for 1) Monthly mortgage expense for the primary residence that was damaged or destroyed by the Wildfire Disaster or; 2) Rental cost due to displacement from the primary residence resulting from the Wildfire Disaster.

Relief assistance is limited to a maximum of $1,500 per household. This assistance is for housing relief only; other expenses including second mortgages (home equity lines or loans), hotel/motel expenses, clothing, appliances, equipment, vehicle purchase, rental or repair and or mileage are ineligible for reimbursement under this program.

• Must be an individual applicant.
• Must be a qualified applicant whose primary residence was damaged or destroyed by a 2026 Colorado wildfire.
• Assistance is limited to housing relief only.
• Funds may be used for either: (1) monthly mortgage expense for the damaged/destroyed primary residence, or (2) rental cost due to displacement from the primary residence.
• Maximum benefit is $1,500 per household.
• Ineligible costs include: second mortgages (home equity lines or loans), hotel/motel expenses, clothing, appliances, equipment, vehicle purchase, vehicle rental, vehicle repair, and mileage.
