LA Rise & Renew Wildfire Recovery Grant

Description
The program sets out to provide unrestricted $5,000 micro-grants to businesses with annual revenues under $2 million that were directly impacted by the fires. Participants will also receive targeted technical assistance through webinars and one-on-one advising to strengthen recovery and long-term resilience
Requirements
  • Business must have a physical street address in a FEMA-declared disaster area in Los Angeles County related to the January 2025 wildfires (PO boxes not eligible).
  • Must be a for-profit small business.
  • Annual gross revenue must be under $2,000,000.
  • Must provide documentation of physical damage or measurable revenue loss caused by the January 2025 wildfires.
  • Business must be currently operating or show intent to reopen and continue operating in the same community.
  • Must be able to accept ACH payment and provide a voided check or bank letter.
  • Not eligible if the business previously received wildfire relief grant funding from LISC LA.
  • Application must include: completed application with signed attestation (DOB and accuracy), proof of physical business address (e.g., lease, business license, utility bill), proof of wildfire impact (e.g., dated photos, repair estimates, invoices, insurance claim number, city/fire report), proof of business existence (e.g., business license, state registration, recent tax filing), voided check/bank letter, completed W-9.
