CalWORKs Recipients Qualify for Immediate Child Care Assistance
Description
Pathways LA has been supporting families like yours for over 40 years. We can help you find child care, manage the costs of child care, and complete the necessary application forms. If you’re a parent and any of the following apply to you, we may be able to provide FREE or REDUCED-COST childcare assistance: Working or Looking for Work, Participating in an Educational or Training Program, Seeking Permanent Housing. Our Program Specialists work with each family to determine eligibility and help parents access child care from a provider of their choice.

- Must be a CalWORKs recipient.
- Working or Looking for Work.
- Participating in an Educational or Training Program.
- Seeking Permanent Housing.

Complete the eligibility tool; if you qualify, you’ll be invited to complete the online application and a Program Specialist will reach out to finish the process.

Contact Pathways LA with questions or for help completing forms; office open 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday, with extended hours on Wednesdays until 6 pm. Walk-ins welcome.
