American Red Cross 2025 California Wildfire Long-Term Recovery Program

The grant will support ROWW’s long-term wildfire recovery efforts, including broader community outreach and referrals, household needs assessments, and targeted distributions of furniture, appliances, clothing, and more. ROWW’s emphasis is on recognizing and helping the underserved, displaced, and rent-burdened residents. The program aims to fulfill unmet needs following a disaster.

Steadfast LA Small Business Initiative

Through generous funding from Steadfast LA and Banc of California, LiftFund will administer critical funding via grants of up to $50,000 to help the small business community in LA come back stronger and more resilient than ever. Access up to $50,000 in capital to assist recovery and rebuilding. Rebuild stronger with equipment, inventory, repairs and operational costs. Inevitable Foundation - Emergency Relief Fund

A responsive cash granting program for disabled creatives in crisis. Currently supporting disabled writers, directors, and producers affected by the L.A. wildfires. The Relief Fund was created in response to the 2023 WGA Strike to provide an emergency backstop to ensure disabled creatives aren’t forced to leave the industry due to financial necessity during crises. Applications are now open to support disabled writers and filmmakers impacted by the 2025 L.A. wildfires. Impacts considered include destroyed homes, unforeseen evacuation costs, negative health impacts, and lost employment as a result of the fires.

Handyworker Grant Program

The Handyworker Grant Program aims to preserve existing homes by funding minor home repairs to ensure the health and safety of eligible low- to moderate-income homeowners within the unincorporated areas of the First, Fourth, and Fifth Supervisorial Districts.

Emergency Relief Grant from the Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+)

The Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+) emergency relief grant focuses on materials-based craft and folk/traditional artists who have experienced a recent, career or practice threatening emergency, such as an illness, injury, theft, fire or climate related disaster AND/OR incurred significant medical expenses related to treatment and recovery from COVID-19. Due to the high demand for emergency relief assistance and limited funding, cases based solely on economic losses due to COVID-19 are not eligible. Once we receive your completed application, we will review it and contact you by phone and/or email within five business days.

Richard Devylder Disaster Relief Fund

The Richard Devylder Disaster Relief Fund assists individuals with disabilities impacted by various disasters across the state. The fund helps replace lost critical assistive technology, tools and devices, and is also covering some motel/hotel stays.

CalAssist Mortgage Fund

CalAssist Mortgage Fund is a state program that provides much-needed relief from mortgage payments for displaced families whose homes were destroyed or left uninhabitable by a California disaster such as the Los Angeles wildfires or floods. 3 months of mortgage payments, up to a maximum of $20,000. Funds never have to be repaid and it’s free to apply.

Steadfast LA Foundation Modular Housing Grant

Steadfast LA Foundation is committed to helping victims of the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles County rebuild their home, lives, and communities. In collaboration with modular homebuilders such as Samara and program collaborators HomeAid OCLA, loanDepot, and Armanino Advisory LLC, through our Modular Housing Initiative we will provide financial assistance to eligible individuals and families who lost their homes during the wildfires by providing grants to help them obtain new modular homes. Fire victims in Altadena, Malibu, Pasadena, and Pacific Palisades who lack the economic resources to rebuild may be eligible for Modular Housing Grants.

Los Angeles County Education Wildfire Recovery Fund – Educator Grant Program

The Educator Grant Program through the Los Angeles County Education Wildfire Recovery Fund provides resources to Los Angeles County public school educators affected by the LA County wildfires—including counselors, club leaders, and coaches—to ensure they can continue delivering quality education by replacing classroom materials, funding special projects, and supporting student and staff well-being.

MusiCares provides crisis relief, preventive care, recovery resources, and need-based financial assistance for people across all music professions.

Natural Disaster Relief Fund: LA Fires

Sweet Relief Musicians Fund is here to provide immediate financial assistance to music industry professionals impacted by natural disasters. Grants will be issued to those that can show proof of destruction of, or damage to property or music equipment from any sudden, unexpected, or unusual event such as a flood, hurricane, tornado, fire, earthquake or even volcanic eruption. Funds raised will go towards loss of music-related equipment, medical bills related to the event, and other vital-living expenses.

Crew Nation Fire Relief Fund 2025: Los Angeles and Surrounding Areas

Crew Nation Fire Relief Fund provides grants of up to $5,000 to live music professionals and live performance musicians affected by the 2025 Los Angeles fires. It supports those facing loss of income due to concert cancellations or venue damage, displacement expenses from mandatory evacuation orders, and damage or destruction to primary homes, vehicles, instruments, or music equipment. Applicants must demonstrate at least three years of industry employment, provide proof of loss or displacement, and submit valid identification. Funds are prioritized for those with the greatest need.

Jewish Free Loan Association Fire Relief Loans

JFLA offers zero‐interest, zero‐fee loans to individuals, non-profits, and small businesses affected by recent wildfires in Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara Counties. Loan amounts range up to $50,000 based on credit score and guarantor status. Funds can cover temporary housing, transportation, essentials, equipment, inventory, and other recovery needs. Repayment terms are up to 36 months with payments beginning 90 days after disbursement. Applicants undergo a hard credit check and must meet standard eligibility criteria.

Home-Based Child Care Emergency Fund for Severe Weather & National Disaster Response

Home-based child care providers are the backbone of their community in good times and bad. During a crisis, they are often an afterthought or excluded entirely in emergency response and aid. We know that philanthropy can act quickly to address that gap and work to encourage public response to focus on home-based providers. The Home-Based Child Care Emergency Fund for Severe Weather & National Disaster Response seeks to address immediate needs among home-based child care providers impacted by national disasters and severe weather events. With input from existing grantees and partners on the ground, we designed an emergency fund to respond to providers’ needs as they recover from the effects of severe weather events and natural disasters.

AltadenaWILD Scholarship Fund Expired

We are excited to launch the AltadenaWILD Scholarship Fund for students impacted by the Eaton Fire. With support from the Altadena Rotary Club, we will offer several $2000 scholarships to Altadena residents entering their freshman year at a 2-year or 4-year college or university in Fall 2025. We will accept applications until August 15, 2025 with scholarships awarded in early September.

LISC LA is launching the LA Wildfire Relief Grant Program to support small businesses affected by the devastating wind and wildfire events that began on January 7, 2025. The program will award $1.5 million in $10,000 grants to help local businesses recover, rebuild, and continue serving their communities.

Lil’ Lotus Kits Expired

Lil’ Lotus Kits provide $50 in direct relief to families affected by the 2025 wildfires. Each kit includes $25 for food and $25 for gas. Grocery cards are provided to families with access to a fridge or stove, and fast food cards are given to those staying in hotels or temporary housing without kitchen access.

LA Strong: Disaster Response Fund Phase 3 Grant Expired

The focus of Phase 3 funding is current and returning students who continue to experience long-term housing displacement due to the January 2025 fires. As such, beginning June 2025, only students impacted by the Eaton or Palisades fires will be eligible for Phase 3 funding. Only students whose primary residence was destroyed or sustained significant damage, resulting in longer-term displacement (more than 1 month) and/or significant damage (more than $25,000 in cleaning, replacement, or repair costs) will be eligible for Phase 3 funding.

The County and City of Los Angeles and partners have launched the new LA Region Worker Relief Fund that helps workers impacted financially by the windstorm and wildfires by providing cash assistance grants of $2,000.

The County and City of Los Angeles and partners have launched the new LA Region Small Business Relief Fund to provide cash assistance grants for small businesses and nonprofits impacted by the windstorm and wildfires.” “Small Businesses and nonprofits with revenue of up to $6 million and less than 100 employees may be eligible to receive cash assistance grants from $2,000 to $25,000 depending on disaster impact.

The DoorDash Local Business Disaster Relief Fund Expired

The DoorDash Local Business Disaster Relief Fund, presented by DoorDash in partnership with Hello Alice, is here to support the local businesses that power communities across the U.S. Disasters are unpredictable – but critical support shouldn’t be. With funding available to help small businesses like restaurants, flower shops, liquor stores, convenience stores, pet stores, and local grocery stores recover and thrive, this initiative strengthens local economies by investing in small businesses that serve their neighborhoods every day.

Temporary Storage of Artworks for Fire-Impacted Artists and Community-Based Organizations Expired

The Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture is offering free temporary storage for artworks to artists and community-based organizations who have been impacted by the 2025 Los Angeles Wildfires. Storage will be offered on a first come, first serve basis, with priority given to applicants in the immediate fire perimeter. The services will be available for a maximum of one year, from July 2025 to July 2026.
